Whether you are looking for a job or interested in buying a business there are some questions you MUST consider before taking the plunge.

Top 10 questions when getting a job OR buying a business:

• 10. Is there a future?
• 9. What’s the worst that can happen? You better know beforehand.
• 8. Who are these people, I mean really, who are they? Background checks for your employer and business sellers often make sense.
• 7. What are the benefits?
• 6. What if something does go wrong?
• 5. What could get me fired? (Biz question…what could put me out of business?)
• 4. What are the other employees like?
• 3. What if I hate it? How do I get out?
• 2. Will I be proud tell tell people what I do?
• 1. Can I do the job?

Don’t settle for the quick off the top of your head answer, think things through. Remember the saying is NOT Ready, Fire, Aim…it’s Ready, Aim, Fire.
